A Broadcaster is an internet upload appliance. It can come in any number of shapes and flavors. It might be any combination of suggestion box, guestbook, public telephone, photobooth, soapbox, grafitti wall, bulletin board, notebook, megaphone, videocamera, etc. Mobile phones and computers are examples of broadcasting devices but the are often confusing (computer literacy), limiting (text only phones), or too expensive (smartphones) for a large portion of the population. How do we imagine a device like a public telephone (cheap, ubiquitous, easy to use, many vendors) but instead of making a call to a specific person, it allows you to place a public photo or video online? Maybe it's used as a public suggestion box at a store, library, or any other service location. Maybe it's used as a guestbook at a nightclub or restaurant.
